Glendale Depot 1931
Here's a photo taken in 1931 of the Southern Pacific train station. It was taken on a rainy day by an S.P. photographer from in front of the signal maintainer's tool house. This is the same depot that was moved from this location up the hill toward the Hamilton Addition and converted into a very nice community center by gracious volunteers from Glendale and the surrounding area. In fact the current location would be just to your right and in the distance where the hillside gives way to the overcast.
