Glendale Arch After Accident

This arch which stood at the entrance to Glendale was erected in 1912 and rammed by a dump truck on 19 Sep 1954.  The lock on the bed of the dump truck failed and caused the bed to come up as the truck was moving toward the arch.  The arch was made out of two concrete pillars on each end and iron work between them over the roadway.
