Early Railroad Postcard # 4

This is a great photo!  Especially when you consider that someone had to climb way up the mountain and find an open space to get the photo with a camera that was probably bigger than a breadbox.  Today when you go to Wolf Creek you travel from the upper left hand side to the upper right hand side and all you see where the opening once was are trees...big trees.  When this loop was first put in the far right hand side was a wooden trestle but they kept burning so most of them were filled in with rock and dirt to make them solid.
