This is the third and final hotel at West Fork.  Notice the sign on the left that says "Post Office Dothan".  The small room just inside the door was the post office but it got so many big packages that it had a building built out near the railroad tracks where the packages were stored until they were taken by pack mule into the lower Rogue River.  The trail started at the right rear of the hotel and went up West Fork Creek.
