How Long Is Patience?

Here is a little thought for today that sprang up a while back about something I'm lacking from time-to-time.

How long is patience?
A little, a lot, enough or not?
A good-natured tolerance
Worth the refrain bought?

A practice of longanimity
Can be a virtue strong
Forbearance dispels enmity
But what time is patience long?
