Susan (Webb) Martin remembers Ken:

Ken was such a great guy.  He was the self-appointed class clown who laughed hysterically at the drop of a pencil.  He was often the center of attention and spent a lot of energy every day trying to make everyone laugh, sometimes costing him a trip to the principal’s office.  I was recently looking through all the little pictures of my classmates.  You know the little 2” x 3” pictures we used to give to each other?   I found the one Ken gave me and on the back he wrote in his unique way, words that took me back like it was yesterday.   Ken offered us all a quick laugh and distraction from boredom, but just beyond that front was a genuine friend with a giant heart.  He was a treasure for sure.
